Eating healthy does not mean eating bland. I have come up with many different tastey recipes while transforming my body with a healthy diet and exercise. Below is today's featured recipe. Try it out or choose a different recipe from the left.


Seafood Burgers

12 ounces medium shrimp, cooked
12 ounces tilapia fillets, cut into small pieces
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 scallions, trimmed and coarsely chopped
4 medium white mushrooms
1 Tbsp. fresh dill, chopped
2 egg whites
1/4 cup fine dried bread crumbs

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place half of the shrimp and half of the tilapia in a food processor and process 10 pulses, then transfer to a large bowl. Repeat with the remaining shrimp and fish. Sprinkle with salt and cayenne pep

Place the scallions, mushrooms, and dill in the processor and pulse 5 times. Add to the seafood, pour in the egg whites and mix well. Form into 4 patties and set aside.

Spread the breadcrumbs out on a plate. Place the patties on top and press firmly, coating both sides with the crumbs, and transfer to a baking sheet. Bake until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
